ZOBLAZO - CREATIVE 3D COMPETITION

FOSTER THE FULL POTENTIAL OF AFRICAN DIGITAL CREATIVITY

«ZOBLAZO" meaning «we are the champions» in ivorian, is an international creative competition calling artists from around the African continent and diaspora, to create 3D Animated scenes on UNREAL ENGINE illustrating the tremendous vibe and energy of the 2024 African Football Cup Of Nations (AFCON), using free 3D props representing African urban environments.

OBJETIVES :

Skills developpement (3D modeling, Animation and storytelling)
Provide opportunities and promote African talents
Share African creativity with the rest of the world
Boost the growth of a new generation of digital artists to join the global industry
Benefit from the AFCON momentum to boost content creation and build more visibility

THE 3D PROPS

Artists entering the competition will have access to free 3D props to create amazing scenes inside UNREAL ENGINE urban environment, capturing the AFCON celebration energy, and the vibe of African cities using :

3D African stadiums
3D African Characters
3D Africain famous buildings
3D African famous monuments
3D custom tour buses
3D African urban elements (Lights, street vendors, shops, etc.)

Part of the AfroVFX curriculum, the 3D props will be built by students and junior artists from Cote D'Ivoire.

Students will receive a grant provided by AfroVFX and its partners, as part of an internship program.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE ARTISTS

For African artists, «Zoblazo» competition will be an opportunity to :
