AFRO VFX TRAINING
The African VFX Force
With the support of Orange Digital Center, the AfroVFX training program has a mission to foster free professional 3D and VFX training to the African continent.
Since its first cohort (based in Côte d’Ivoire), 56 students (chosen among +700 candidates) have participated in a 4 month intensive training on Maya, Houdini, Nuke and Unreal Engine.
Our vision is to nurture and empower a flourishing ecosystem of world-class talent, able to respond to both the local (South Africa, Nollywood, etc.) and international demand.
Through AfroVFX, the growing community of African aspiring VFX artists and animators is connected to the global industry for training, mentorship, collaboration and/or cultural exchanges.
